April 27 -- John O'Reilly, Brendan Herger, Camden Law, Trent McFarland
USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week
» The 4x800-meter relay squad of John O'Reilly, Brendan Herger, Camden Law and Trent McFarland finished first at the Penn Relays with a program record time of 7:09.24 to be named the USTFCCCA Athlete of the Week.
» The time sets a new Penn Relays meet record, is No. 2 on the all-time NCAA performers list and just 0.38 seconds from the collegiate record. It is also No. 4 on the all-time US performers list and No. 16 on the all-time world performance list.
» This is the first time in program history that athletes from Michigan have been named M-F Athletic National Athletes of the Week during the outdoor season.
April 15 -- Quincy Isaac
Big Ten Freshman of the Week
» Quincy Isaac was named the conference Freshman of the Week after his performance at the Spec Towns Invitational.
» Isaac jumped a personal-best 7.68 meters (25 feet, 2.5 inches) in the long jump for third place.
» The leap is the No. 10 mark in the conference and No. 8 mark on the program performers list.
Feb. 25 -- Miles Brown
Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week
» Miles Brown was named Big Track Athlete of the Week after a record-breaking weekend at the Alex Wilson Invitational.
» Brown ran a 44.90 split in the 400-meter leg of the distance medley relay (9:14.80) that set the program record and is third on the NCAA All-Time All-Conditions list.
» The graduate student also finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:47.95.
Feb. 23 -- Brendan Herger, Miles Brown, Camden Law, Trent McFarland
USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week
» The distance medley relay squad of Brendan Herger, Miles Brown, Camden Law and Trent McFarland finished first at the Alex Wilson Invitational with a time of 9:14.80 to be named the USTFCCCA Athlete of the Week.
» The squad set the program standard in the DMR, shaving nearly five seconds off the previous record.
» The mark is third all-time in the NCAA in all conditions and is currently No. 1 in the nation.
Jan. 14 -- Quincy Isaac
Big Ten Freshman of the Week
» Quincy Isaac had a big collegiate debut at the Wolverine Invitational (Jan. 10) to earn his first career conference Freshman of the Week honor.
» He won the long jump with a mark of 7.85 meters, good for No. 2 all-time on the program performers list, just 0.04m shy of the program record.
» His mark currently is best in the NCAA and Big Ten.
