
Michigan Set for Duke Twilight in Regular Season Road Finale

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's track and field team will close out its regular-season road slate Sunday (May 3) at the Duke Twilight at Morris Williams Stadium. Action is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m. with the discus throw.
Notes
• Michigan leads the Great Lakes Region and is ranked No. 10 in the Big Ten in the latest USTFCCCA rankings.
• The shot put group (Elizabeth Tapper, Trinity Franklin, Abigail Russell, Janey Campbell) sits at No. 2 in the NCAA, while the 800-meter group (Emmry Ross, Samantha Hastie, Coraline Haggarty, Penelopea Gordon) is No. 11.
• U-M is coming off a weekend at the Penn Relays (April 23-25).
• Alyssa Bean, Payton Smith, Trinity Henderson and Sidney Green posted a time of 3:31.35 in the 4x400-meter relay preliminaries, the No. 4 mark on the program performers list, to advance to the finals, where they finished fifth (3:35.39).
• Bean, Amare Harlan, Myla Wilkes and Keyanna O'Tey posted a time of 44.20 seconds in the 4x100-meter relay preliminaries, coming 0.03 seconds shy of a season best and 0.10 seconds short of the program record. The squad finished fourth in the finals with a time of 44.90.
• Green ran a season-best 57.71 in the 400-meter hurdles, while Hannah Pricco (4:17.26) and Haggarty (4:22.44) posted personal bests in the 1,500-meter run.
• The Wolverines will host the Len Paddock Open on May 8 at the U-M Outdoor Track.
