
Michigan to Host Len Paddock Open to Conclude Regular Season

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team will close out the regular season hosting the Len Paddock Open on Friday (May 8) at U-M Track and Field Stadium. Field events will begin at 11 a.m. with the long jump and pole vault, while track events begin at 12:04 p.m. with the 4x100m relay.
Notes
• The Wolverines continue to sit at No. 2 in the Great Lakes Region and No. 11 in the Big Ten in the latest USTFCCCA rankings.
• Michigan's 1,500-meter squad (Trent McFarland, Brendan Herger, Henry Dixon and Riley Flemington) remains No. 1 in the NCAA for the sixth straight week, while the 800-meter squad (Camden Law, Herger, John O'Reilly and Miles Brown) is ranked No. 4.
• U-M returns home from a strong weekend at the Duke Twilight in Durham, N.C. (May 3).
• In the 800-meter, Law set the program and the Morris Williams Stadium facility records with a personal best of 1:45.86 to finish first. Herger placed third with a personal best of 1:46.40, the No. 5 time on the program performers list.
• Corey Royster set a pair of top-10 times, finishing fifth in the 100-meter dash (10.37 seconds) and first in the 200-meter dash with a 20.93. The marks are No. 3 and No. 6, respectively, on the program performers list.
• Flemington placed fifth in the 1,500-meter run with a personal-best 3:40.40 for the No. 8 time on the program list while Heath McAllister placed fifth in the 5,000-meter run with a personal best 13:47.42 for the No. 9 time on the program list.
• Michigan will open the postseason with the Big Ten Outdoor Championships from Friday through Sunday, May 15-17, in Lincoln, Neb.
