In its pursuit to build one of the most innovative player development models in college baseball, Michigan baseball added Max Gordon to its coaching staff as its Volunteer Assistant Coach in January 2020.
In addition to his duties at Michigan, Gordon will continue to serve as a hitting coordinator at Driveline Baseball. His responsibilities include building specific programs to target movement deficiencies and swing flaws, provide hitting instruction for Minor League Baseball players and working closely with strength coaches, medical trainers and Driveline's research and development team.
A 2013 graduate of Oregon State University, Gordon played baseball for the Beavers for three years, culminating in a Pac-12 championship and a trip to Omaha for the College World Series in his senior season of 2013.
