
Rain Washes Out First Game of Michigan State Series

EAST LANSING, Mich. -- Game one of the University of Michigan baseball team's home-and-home series with Michigan State today (Tuesday, May 11) has been cancelled due to persistent rain. The game will not be rescheduled.
The two teams are slated to play Wednesday (May 12) at the Wilpon Baseball Complex at 6:35 p.m. Wednesday is The Price is Right night at the park where fans may be selected to win great Michigan baseball prizes by participating in challenges from the game show throughout the contest.
The Michigan and Michigan State rivalry traces its roots on the diamond to the 1884 season. Since then, Michigan has owned a 191-96-2 all-time series lead and has won the 10 of the last 12 games.
