ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- For the second straight year, University of Michigan men's lacrosse head coach John Paul will host a series of four free coaching clinics over the next four months.
The initial session is set for Thursday, Oct. 11, from 7-9 p.m. at the Junge Family Champions Center. The other clinics are set for Nov. 8, Dec. 13 and Jan. 10.
Coach Paul and his staff -- assistant coaches Ken Broschart, Ryan Danehy, Keith Euker and Jeff Turner and strength coach Bo Sandoval -- will focus on methods for improving skill development, strategy, team building, strength training and conditioning. Each two-hour session will include "chalk talk," an audio-visual component and open interaction with the U-M staff.
"We had great participation last year, with as many as 100 coaches attending these sessions," said Coach Paul. "As coaches we love sharing ideas and building a better sense of community. We're looking forward to hosting everyone again."
Coaches interested in attending a clinic should e-mail director of operations Joe Hennessy (jjhennes@umich.edu). All of the clinics will run from 7-9 p.m. at the Junge Center. The complete schedule of clinics is below.
