Michigan won its opening Big Ten Tournament game for the second straight season. The Maize and Blue defeated Minnesota, 3-2, in 2014.
Michigan is now 46-34 all-time in the Big Ten Tournament.
Michigan is 2-1 all-time against Indiana in Big Ten Tournament play.
Sophomore Johnny Slater hit his third career home run in the win over Indiana. It was the first home run by a Wolverine in Target Field.
Sophomore Brett Adcock pitched four no-hit innings before giving up a leadoff double to Logan Sowers in the fifth. Adcock now has 85 strikeouts this season for the Wolverines.
Michigan wins a game in a Major League park for the first time in the last seven tries. That includes going 0-2 at Target Field in the 2013 Big Ten Tournament.
Senior Jackson Glines had three hits in the win over Indiana. Glines now has 24 multi-hit games this season.
