ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan baseball team's Big Ten Conference series finale against Minnesota on Sunday (April 10) has been cancelled due to weather and low temperatures in the Ann Arbor area.
Forecasted weather on Saturday originally altered Friday's single-game schedule to accommodate a doubleheader, with the final game of the series anticipated for Sunday.
Forecasted precipitation and temperatures on Sunday, however, forced the cancellation of the contest. The two teams will not meet again this season to make up the game.
Michigan (21-8, 3-2 Big Ten) will return to action Tuesday (April 12) when the Wolverines head to Michigan State for a 4 p.m. non-conference game against the Spartans. Michigan will be back home Wednesday (April 13) to host Eastern Michigan at 4 p.m. at the Wilpon Complex, home of Ray Fisher Stadium.
