
Ford, Goonan Named USILA Scholar All-Americans

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Seniors Finn Goonan and Christian Ford of the University of Michigan men's lacrosse team were named United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-Americans, the association announced recently.
In a 2020 season abbreviated by the COVID-19 pandemic, Goonan played in five games with three caused turnovers. Over the course of his U-M career, Goonan played in 38 contests, causing 20 turnovers and collecting 60 ground balls. A two-time academic All-Big Ten member, he graduated from U-M in May with a communication and media degree.
Ford played in seven games with five goals and one assist. He excelled in the Ford School of Public Policy, named in honor his grandfather, Michigan alum (1935) and 38th president of the United States of America, Gerald Ford.
A two-time Academic All-Big Ten member, Christian Ford graduated from U-M with a degree in public policy, and will return to Michigan next season to study real estate in the Ross School of Business.
