
Rowlett Earns USILA All-America Recognition

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Junior Nick Rowlett of the University of Michigan men's lacrosse team was named All-America honorable mention by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) it was announced Thursday (May 27).
Rowlett led the Big Ten in ground balls per game and ranked sixth nationally in the category with 8.33 per game. He checked in at No. 30 in faceoff-win percentage (.537), and also was named first team All-Big Ten, the lone faceoff man to be honored on either All-Big Ten team.
In all, Rowlett totaled 100 ground balls, posting four double-digit ground ball contests highlighted by a 16-pickup effort against Rutgers on March 16. His USILA nod is the first for a Wolverine since Brent Noseworthy in 2018, also earning an honorable mention accolade.
