ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's lacrosse program has named Mark Bieda as its volunteer assistant coach, head coach Kevin Conry announced Wednesday (Sept. 14). Bieda fills the void vacated by Danny Murphy, who took an assistant coach role at Vermont.
Bieda, the brother of recently hired assistant coach Scott Bieda (July 20), recently concluded a standout playing career at Delaware (2018-21). A two-time team captain (2021-22), he totaled 39 goals and 46 assists (84 points). He will work with the team's faceoff unit and various other areas within the program.
The hiring also fills out the staff, with Conry (year five), and associate head coach Jim Rogalski (year five) leading the coaching staff.
