
Felty, Winter Post Top-10 Marks at USF Alumni Invitational

TAMPA, Fla. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field team opened up its outdoor slate at the USF Alumni Invitational on Friday (March 15), with Aiden Felty and Eli Winter posting top-10 program marks in their respective events.
Winter was the first Wolverine to compete, throwing a career-best 66.92m (219 feet, 6 inches) in the hammer throw for the win and the No. 3 mark in program history.
Felty followed up with an impressive performance of his own, recording a career-best mark of 17.78m (58 feet, 4 inches) in the shot put to finish in fourth place. Felty's mark comes in at No. 10 in program history.
Tianhao Wei also saw a career best, jumping 7.26m (23 feet, 10 inches) to finish fourth.
In the 800-meter run, Riley Flemington (1:51.39) and Kepler Huntress (1:52.06) finished 3-4.
The Wolverines will close out the weekend with day two of the USF Alumni Invitational on Saturday (March 16) at 11 a.m.
