
Wolverines Set for Florida's Tom Jones Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's track and field program will compete in the Tom Jones Invitational hosted by Florida on Friday and Saturday (April 12-13) at James G. Pressly Stadium at Percy Beard Track.
Notes
• Track action in Gainesville, Fla., will begin at 12:20 p.m. on Friday (April 12) with the 200-meter dash and at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday (April 13) with the 110-meter hurdles. Field action will begin at noon on Friday with the hammer throw and Saturday with the discus throw at 9 a.m.
• The Wolverines remained in the USTFCCCA Event Squad rankings, with the 1,500-meter run squad staying at No. 2 and the 800-meter run squad staying at No. 4.
• U-M stayed close to home last weekend, sending a pair of track athletes to the Spartan Invitational at Michigan State on April 5.
• Myles Liss-Riordan competed in the 5,000-meter run and finished fourth with a time of 15:04.54.
• In the 3,000-meter steeplechase, Xander Black placed fourth in 10:05.89.
