• Lauren Sung and Sydney Sung will play in their third straight Big Ten Tournament, while Janess will make her second consecutive trip to Bulle Rock Golf Course. • Returning to Bulle Rock Golf Course for the second consecutive year, the Big Ten Tournament will be held at a neutral site for the 14th straight year. The event was shortened to 54 holes in 2012 after more than 30 years as a 72-hole championship.
• Michigan has recorded 13 all-time top-five finishes at the Big Ten Championships, including the program's first title in 2022. Seven of those top-five finishes have come since head coach Jan Dowling took over the program in 2014. The Wolverines have also produced three individual champions: Elodie Van Dievoet (2017) and Monet Chun (2022, 2024).
• The Wolverines head into the postseason after capturing the team title at the Terrapin Invitational with an 877 total -- their first win in nearly a year (2024 Chattanooga Classic, April 7-9). All five U-M starters placed in the top 25: Lauren Sung (T-3rd, 216), Janess (T-15th, 220), Wang (T-23rd, 222), Sydney Sung (T-23rd, 223), and Bartholdson (T-25th, 224).
• Janess has led the Wolverines in five of nine events this season. She recorded four rounds of 70 before breaking the 70 barrier with a career-low 69 (-3) in the final round of the Chattanooga Classic. She owns a team-best scoring average of 73.85, more than two strokes better than her 76.26 mark last season.
• In addition to her scoring consistency, Janess has three top-10 finishes this season, including a tie for third at the Spartan Sun Coast Invitational with a career-low 54-hole total of 212 (-4).
• Lauren Sung ranks second on the team in scoring average at a career-best 74.19. She posted the team's lowest round of the season with a 68 (-4) in the second round of the Terrapin Invitational. Lauren has five top-20 finishes this year, including two top-10s and her first career top-five result (T-3rd, 216) at the Terrapin.
