• Benny Casillas leads the Big Ten with a .408 batting average and has reached base safely in all but two starts this season. Casillas is one of 22 players across Division I baseball above .400. He is second in the conference in hits and hits per game with 75 on the season for a 1.50 average.
• Mitch Voit remains in the top 10 in the Big Ten Conference in batting average, on-base percentage and slugging percentage, slashing .349/.481/.656. He added his 12th home run of the season last Tuesday (May 7) against Central Michigan and added a double and triple on Saturday (May 10) at Nebraska. Voit is up to 33 career home runs, tied for fourth in program history.
• Cole Caruso led Michigan to a win in the Nebraska finale with two home runs, the first multi-homer game of his career, and trails Voit by one (12) for the team lead.
• Greg Pace Jr. has been the team's best hitter over the last 10 games, batting .393 with a .679 slugging percentage. He has played in all 24 games (22 starts) since the start of April. Pace is 25-for-64 and holds a team-leading .506 on-base percentage since April 1. Over that span, he scored 21 runs with 17 RBI.
• Over Michigan's last 10 games, Robert Hamchuk went 5-for-11 with four runs and four RBI. He has played in 227 career games across six seasons, which is the fifth most among active Division-I players.
• Kurt Barr has been strong since the Mount Saint Mary's series (April 11-13), making four starts while striking out 21 in 26 innings and allowing just three earned runs. He fanned seven against Nebraska but issued five walks and six hits, allowing three runs in six innings. Barr holds a 3.49 earned-run average and a 1.42 WHIP over 67 innings.
