ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's soccer team (2-1) rounds out its road trip against SEC foes on Sunday (Aug. 24) with a noon fixture against Georgia at the Turner Soccer Complex. The non-conference clash will be streamed live on SEC Network+.
• Michigan is 0-1 all-time against Georgia, losing the only meeting 1-0 at the UAB Nike Classic in 2002. The Wolverines sport a 13-12-3 record against the current SEC, with head coach Jen Klein going 2-1 against the conference.
• Sophomore Elle Ervin is tied for the Big Ten lead in goals (three), points (seven) and shots (13) through three games. She has already notched a new career high, having started all three games in 2025.
• Second-year midfielder Adi Walick has also started the campaign hot, averaging more than an assist per game. She tied the program record with three assists against Detroit Mercy, and she has added a helper on four of Michigan's seven goals so far this year.
• Junior Gabrielle Prych matches Ervin with three goals while only playing 160 minutes in the opening three matches. She also has the game-winning goals in both Michigan victories this season.
• Prych collected the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award on Tuesday (Aug. 19), which marked Michigan's first Big Ten weekly award winner since Sept. 19, 2023, when Stephanie Sparkowski was voted Goalkeeper of the Week. Prych is the first field player to earn the Offensive Player of the Week honor since Lily Farkas on Aug. 30, 2022.
• The Bulldogs most recently downed reigning national champion North Carolina on Thursday (Aug. 21). Junior midfielder Summer Denigan scored and assisted in the upset victory and leads the team with five points through three matches.
• U-M rounds out its road trip on Thursday, Aug. 28, with a trip to Notre Dame. The 7 p.m. matchup with the Fighting Irish will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra from Alumni Soccer Stadium in South Bend, Ind.
