The University of Michigan women's soccer team (9-3-1, 4-1-1 Big Ten) travels to the state of Illinois for the eighth week of the season as it takes on Illinois (7-5-0, 1-4-0 Big Ten) in Champaign on Friday (Oct. 11) at 7 p.m. CDT and finishes out the weekend in Evanston for a Sunday (Oct. 13) contest against Northwestern (4-6-2, 2-2-1 Big Ten) at 1 p.m. CDT

Michigan needs one win to reach double-digit victories for the first time since 2016, when it went 10-5-5 and made its last NCAA Tournament appearance.

• Michigan sits second in the Big Ten standings with a 4-1-1 record and trails only No. 12 Wisconsin, which defeated the Wolverines, 2-0, in Madison on Oct. 3.
