
Maize & Blue to Head West to Colorado

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan women's soccer team (0-2-0) will hit the road for its second straight road contest, heading to Colorado to face the Buffaloes (1-1-0) on Sunday afternoon (Aug. 25) at noon MDT. The game can be streamed on ESPN+.
Notes
• The Wolverines are looking for their first victory of the 2024 season, heading to Colorado to face the Buffaloes on Sunday (Aug. 25) at noon MDT. It marks the return of Adi Walick to her home state of Colorado, where she went to high school at Regis Jesuit.
• Michigan is wrapping up a two-game road swing after playing at Xavier on Sunday (Aug. 18).
• The Wolverines and Buffaloes are meeting for the second time in the series after the teams tied, 1-1, at U-M Soccer Stadium on Sept. 8, 2022.
• Jenna Lang scored the seventh goal of her career in Michigan's season-opener against Utah Valley (Aug. 15). Avery Kalitta assisted on the goal, the third assist of her career.
• This is one of three trips west of the Mississippi River for the Maize and Blue this season. U-M will also play at Iowa State on Sept. 5 and take a trip to the Pacific Northwest for games at Washington (Oct. 10) and Oregon (Oct. 13).
• Colorado will play Wyoming on Thursday (Aug. 22) prior to hosting Michigan.
• Six Wolverines made their official debut in the Maize and Blue during U-M's opening weekend of action in Ella Jablinskey, Elle Ervin, Walick, Beanie Harshe, Erin Junkmann and Katie Roditis.
• Michigan will return home for two straight matches after this trip, first hosting Notre Dame as part of Senior Night presented by the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan on Aug. 29 at 7 p.m. The Wolverines will wrap up the homestand against Ball State on Sept. 1 at 1 p.m.
