ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The University of Michigan men's lacrosse team (4-3) will close out the non-conference portion of its schedule when it hosts No. 8-ranked Notre Dame (3-2) at 1 p.m. on Saturday (March 15) at U-M Lacrosse Stadium. The matchup against the reigning national champions will air live on Big Ten Network.
Notes
• Michigan will face off against its fourth ranked opponent of the season in No. 8 Notre Dame.
• Senior Ryan Cohen sits just one score away from 100 career goals as he looks to join Michael Boehm and Brent Noseworthy as the only Wolverines to accomplish the feat. He is also just the third Michigan player to record 200 career points and was named to the 2025 Tewaaraton Award Watch List earlier this season.
• Michigan is a perfect 3-0 this season at U-M Lacrosse Stadium with a trio of strong defensive efforts. The Wolverines have only conceded eight goals at home this year, limiting opponents to just three second-half scores over that span.
• Sophomore Nick Roode has paced the U-M offense with 10 goals and 12 points in his last three outings, the most on the squad during that stretch. He recorded his second straight hat trick against No. 12 Harvard last week and contributed a career-high six points and a personal-best five goals against Cleveland State on March 4.
• Two Wolverines sit in the top four for assists in the Big Ten. Cohen, who is tied for most points in the league (25), is first with 16 helpers, while sophomore Jack Jenkins ranks fourth with 11.
• After forcing a career-high five turnovers last week against the Crimson, junior Mason Whitney is tied for second in the Big Ten with 13 caused turnovers on the season.
• Michigan kicks off conference play next Saturday (March 22) at noon when it battles Maryland at SECU Stadium in College Park.
